Moses, my servant, is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them—to the Israelites. I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. Joshua 1:2-3
Warriors seize ground and claim it. They hold it. They build upon it and thrive.
In the first quarter, we’ll seize the land - the spaces in our lives. You may find the card skills to be mundane, but we need to build a practice that is sustainable - a practice that we can always return to. We need to manage our time, remain flexible, take care of our bodies, go to sleep with God, wake up with God and walk with God. We’ll train in these things and more.
In the second quarter, we’ll dedicate the land - the spaces in our lives. We’ll claim it in the name of Jesus Christ: yourself, your family, your home, your work. All of these places need to be consecrated. It’s time to call upon the Lord in these areas.
In the third quarter, we’ll hold the land - the spaces in our lives. Enemies are real. We’ll train to recognize and rebuke sin. We’ll train to stop its progression. We’ll learn how to get back up when we’ve been knocked down. We’ll build hedges of protection and lead our families to even stronger bonds.
In the fourth quarter, as we celebrate the birth of our Lord, we will THRIVE. We will choose our mission fields. Ultimately, we will seek to train in what it means to love, no matter what - to love as we were taught.
Daily Battle Order:
Now that you see the training program, do you agree that seizing ground in our lives, dedicating it to God, holding it for ourselves, our families and his greater glory will lead to you being victorious no matter what?
