“Set the trumpet to your mouth! He shall come like an eagle against the house of the Lord, Because they have transgressed my covenant And rebelled against My law.” Hosea 8:1
Religion, faith, and the church are often referred to as the same thing. We are the church, you and me. We know this to be the truth because Jesus told us. “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18 Our church was bought with the blood of Christ.
The Intell reveals the church is in trouble meaning We are in trouble! The very bedrock of our faith, the call to assemble together is crumbling!
Men – the warriors and kings no longer attend church! They have abandoned their church and the roles they play in making the church stronger.
Church leaders are more concerned with making a name for themselves then Fearing the One whose name is above all others.
The church is not “raising up the foundations of many generations” as it tells us in Isaiah 58.
We are wavering on our confession of faith. A rising group within the church are the nones or nons. Some research shows that this group makes up 25% of religious groups. It is comprised of former Catholics and Protestants and Evangelicals and in essence, they simply don’t believe anymore.
Streaming services are replacing meeting together, church has in many places become just another TV show to view when the time suits us.
The church has become ineffective when it is needed the most.
Daily Battle Order:
Kingdom Man heed the Clarion call before it’s too late! To have victory in religion as a Kingdom Man you must rise up and be the church! The church bought with the blood of Christ! Stirring up one another to love and good works. Exhorting – strongly encouraging one another in spiritual struggles. Iron sharpening iron; which can be painful but is necessary for growing strong. We must become disciplined if we are to be victorious in this battlefield. As Paul said, “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:11.
Growing strong and standing for what we believe takes discipline! We are the church! This is our Battle Cry! Go Forth and Preach the Gospel!
“And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.” Isaiah 58:12
Next week we will continue in more battlefields of our culture.
